Bible Journaling   1/30 @ 4:30pm

Looking for a winter project and a way to stay connected to the Word? Join us for bible journaling at Sparta First on January 30 @ 4:30. No art skills are needed. Just bring your own bible journal or watercolor journal. To reserve your spot, sign up at church on the round table in the lobby or email the church office that you will be joining in the fun. Below are examples. Make sure to bring a friend. 

Meal Packing Event   2/1 @ 9am

Save the date for a fun and impactful morning! Join us on February 1 at 9:00 a.m. for a meal packing event with The Pack Shack. We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to pack meals that will go directly to those in need in our local community, all while enjoying upbeat music, good company, and an infectious spirit of giving back. This is a wonderful opportunity to work together, make a tangible difference, and bond with fellow volunteers. We hope to see you there! Don’t forget to invite your friends and family. All are welcome to join in the fun!

  • Where are we located?

    We are located at 600 West University Ave in Sparta, Illinois.  Check out the map below.

  • What time is worship?

    We worship together on Saturday evenings at 5pm and on Sundays at 10:30am. Come as you are and all are welcome!

  • Where do I park?

    We have a large parking lot with ample spaces. Enter from Hood Ave or University Ave. 

  • What should I wear?

    No dress code here. Some people dress up for church others wear what is comfortable. Feel free to come as you are.

  • What about my kids?

    We have kids' worship at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We would love for you to join us. We have small groups for pre-k, 1st—5th, and junior and senior high.
